Not all wet bars are located in basements and this one happens to be located in a long, uniquely sized 1972 living room off a narrow galley kitchen. So rather than fight furniture layouts in this room, the family chose to make this space functional for how they live every day. A large island serves as the gathering area for many casual meals as the TV can be seen from each of the 6 bar stools. An abundance of countertops provide great food serving areas for crockpots and buffet lines, while the actual bar area houses a beverage refrigerator and glassware. Quartz countertops contrast the dark cherry cabinetry, which compliments the dark, handscraped hardwood flooring found throughout this everyday entertainment space. The final touch is a uniquely shaped undermount sink, affectionately referred to by the client at the margarita sink, to add a little interest to the large island countertop. This is a great, great space for family and friends to gather.
